Jenny Whalley
Boot polish, coffee and gin aren't things you'd usually associate with paintings but Jenny Whalley has never been one for following convention.
She grew up in Zimbabwe and enjoyed painting African Wildlife for many years before emigrating, with her family, to the UK in 2001.
She is a member of the Crowthorne and Sandhurst Art society. She has exhibited her work widely in the UK: The Patchings exhibitions at Nottingham; in Wales, as an invited artist, courtesy of the Sidney Nolan Trust; and at the SWA (Society of Woman Artists) in 2004 and 2012.
She is an avid fundraiser and has donated paintings in support of Sri Lanka's tsunami, Sue Ryder Care, the Debra trust, the Thames Valley Air Ambulance and is an ambassador for VIMBA, a Charity supporting impoverished children growing up in Zimbabwe.
Jenny is passionate about sharing her talent with others and regularly teaches adults art classes.
