Tim Wilmot

Based near Bristol in the UK, Tim Wilmot specialises in vibrant Watercolours, exploiting the medium with tone and light. He has painted all his life and apart from doing A level at school, is completely self-taught. Tim especially loves to paint landscapes and is also well known for his harbour and boat paintings.  Nearly all landscapes include figures and cars (as he says - “what street scenes are void of people and vehicles”?)
Tim paints in a loose or impressionistic style influenced by the styles of other artists like Wesson, Yardley, Castagnet and Zbukvic.  Most paintings are completed in an hour or two.
A regular exhibitor in the South West of the UK especially with the Bath Society of Artists, Tim has won many regional painting competitions in recent years.  As well as being active with painting demonstrations both inside and plein air, Tim has a very active online presence with over 40,000 YouTube followers to his channel and runs regular online demos to attendees from all over the world.  Tim is also a member of the Bristol Savages Art Group.
