Sue Bradley

Sue worked as a biochemist for many years, before training as a primary teacher, specialising in science, art and design and technology. She now tutors art for adults at weekly classes, and provides workshops and demos to art clubs and societies. She lives in Kent and her work is sold through a gallery in Beckenham, as well as online.
Sue has had paintings selected for major exhibitions including the Artist and Leisure Painter magazine annual Open Exhibition at Patchings Art Centre, Nottingham, Fabriano in Aquarello 2020/21  and the Royal Society of Marine Artists Exhibition at the prestigious Mall Galleries, London. In 2020, 2022 and 2023 Sue was selected for the team representing England at the Fabriano in Aquarello Event, Italy and in February 2021, was awarded a ‘Rising Star Future Master Special Excellence Award’ by the International Watercolour Masters (IWM) competition panel.

Sue was thrilled when one of her paintings was juried through to the later stages of the first ever World Watercolour Competition (The Art of Watercolour Magazine). Sue is also a professional associate with the Society for All Artists (SAA) and her latest project has been the illustrations for two books of Tolkien-inspired poetry by the Australian author Peter Kenny.

Sue has a passion for travel and regularly teaches painting holidays across Europe and further afield.
