Stewart Beckett

Stewart Beckett completed an art foundation at Portsmouth Art College (1993), then went on to do an Illustration HND at Solent University (1995). He has exhibited extensively since 2014, including several appearances painting on SKY TV, with portraits of celebrities such as Gregg Davies (2014) and Ncuti Gatwa (2020). He also participated in the Sky Arts, Landscape Artist of the Year competition, getting to the last three in his heat in 2016 and painting the beach at Viking Bay in 2018. For the past 3 years his work has been on display at the prestigious Mall Galleries in London, as part of the ‘Royal Institute of Oil Painters’ and ‘Royal Portrait Society’ annual exhibitions. Most well-known for his Portrait work, he also has a passion for landscapes and topical imagery that highlight issues of our time.
