Richard Holland

Richard has had an interest in art since primary school, which he believes was probably inherited from his Father. Although missing out on getting into Art College, he started painting watercolours avidly in his early twenties. He started exhibiting and selling a few watercolours at a gallery called Gallery 13, in the village of Epworth in Lincolnshire. He later took A-Level Art at Patchings Art Centre under the instruction of Liz Wood and subsequently joined her Painting with Oils Group, steadily building up his collection of oil paintings along with his original watercolours. More recently he has completed a BA in Art History and now regularly teaches oil and watercolour painting to adult learners.
