Eric Watson
Eric is a self-taught Artist from Bromsgrove, Worcestershire having originally trained and worked as a designer in the automobile industry. He has become well known for his sympathetic and detailed portraits of animals, wildlife and birds, spending time watching and studying them in their natural habitat. He started drawing commissions in 1985 alongside working on his smallholding with a large selection of farm animals whilst also successfully showing, judging and breeding English Setters. With a steady increase in commissions, he became a full time Artist in 1994 and started his Jacquerii Art Studio. He has gone on to sell commissioned pieces throughout Europe, South Africa, America and Australia.
Eric is a full member of The Wildlife Artists International and was awarded the Silver Citation for one of his pieces by the organisation.
