Stephen Harris

Drawing inspiration from 300 years of frame design and techniques, Stephen studies and appreciates the craftsmanship of past eras, allowing him to infuse his own contemporary twist into personalised frame creations. With meticulous attention to detail, he carefully choose finishes like paint, stain, or metal leaf to enhance the visual experience and elevate the impact of the artwork.
With each individualised frame design, he aims to elevate the artwork by creating a harmonious union between frame and art. It becomes a journey with him getting to know likes and dislikes, to help the client make informed decisions.  

Stephen is available to visit clubs within an hour of North Buckinghamshire, to give a presentation, combining fascinating insights into the history of framing with practical advice for how to frame your own art work.

Offers: Gives a talk about historical framing practices and gives advice on best practice for framing your work.
