Colin Ross Jack
Colin paints several subjects, including many inspired by his home area of Fife in Scotland. Now living in the Midlands, Colin is an experienced teacher and tutor, having done art demonstrations and workshops for over 40 years. He exhibits regularly across the UK, particularly at the annual Arts Festival in Pittenweem, Fife, which has grown in size to become one of the major arts events in Scotland. Colin's paintings are in private collections all over the world as well as the UK.
Colin has 2 styles - traditional 'western' style, with its emphasis on realism, texture, perspective, light and shade, etc and japanese 'ukiyo-e' style, based on the 17/18th century woodblocks of Artists like Hokusai.
