I am a self-taught artist and produce commissions and original work with pastel. I’ve been interested in art my whole life, but only began working professionally in 2017 after nearly 20 years in education.

I’ve always been fascinated by colour, texture and the nature and quality of light. The endless variation of these things in the natural world, particularly in the animal kingdom, are the main subjects of my work and I am driven by a passion to convey them on paper as realistically as possible.

My work has been featured in Artists and Illustrators magazine and I was the cover artist for Coloured Pencil Magazine in November 2018. In the same year one of my wildlife paintings was shortlisted for the David Shepherd Wildlife Artist of the Year exhibition and another piece won a competition in the pastel category held by art retailer Jackson’s.

I am happy to travel 50 miles from my home in Gravesend, Kent, or further afield with expenses.
