About the Artist:
During 2020 as a result of lockdown restrictions, Melanie has changed her painting approach from working mainly outdoors to creating large scale seascapes and landscapes with big expressive skies in her studio. Working from sketches and memories as much as photographs.

Some paintings are available direct from her website: www.melaniecambridge-fine-art.co.uk but Melanie is also a gallery artist at www.theweygallery.com who hold a changing stock of her latest works all year round.

On-line Tuition:
Melanie offers a range of courses, workshops and tutorials for individuals and groups via Zoom. These include:

Art Groups:
Melanie's lively demonstrations offer plenty of inspiration and encouragement to "pick up your brushes and have a go" using oils, acrylics, gouache and oil pastel.

Subjects available include: Big Sky Landscapes; Seascapes & Beach Scenes; Using Photographs Effectively; Drawing & Painting Horses; Understanding Colour; Still Life; Painting with Knives! If you would like to invite her to give a demonstration, critique or workshop, these can be hosted via Zoom and hopefully will be possible in person in 2021. Please call ART PROFILE on 01296 733200.

Tailored Workshops:
Once it is possible to visit in person, Melanie is happy do so and will create a bespoke workshop to suit the needs of your members. If you wish to try oils, then she can also supply paints, mediums and brushes so no-one need worry about extra upfront costs just to have a go at something new.

Artist Brushes: Melanie has her own range of artist brushes created specifically for her and using only synthetic fibres. Some designed for oils/acrylics, others for watercolour/gouache. All available direct from her website shop at: www.melaniecambridge-fine-art.co.uk
