Danny is a well-established, versatile artist.
He had his first cartoons published at the age of just 15, and sold his first watercolour painting only a few days later. Danny went on and became the political caroonist for the Sunday People and at the same time held a major exhibition at the Southampton Art Museum.
His work has been widely published from Christmas cards through to jigsaw puzzles, from limited edition prints to a range of 6 cartoon books.
Danny was made a full member of the Equestrian Society in 1985.
Dannys cartoon demonstration is definitely one not to be missed, it's a fun filled entertaining evening full of witty anecdotes along with a very impressive how to draw cartoons...caricatures are also on the agenda. Danny picks guinea-pigs from the audience...not for the faint hearted.
Danny also gives in-depth talks, with slide presentations on the following artists:
Sir Alfred Munning - One of Englands finest painters of horses, who became President of the Royal Academy. Danny goes through the story of his life and the mystery surrounding the death of his first wife.
Sir Stanley Spencer - Britains most imaginative, and most eccentric, twentieth-century artist. Genius or village simpleton, Danny leads you through the life of this exceptional painter, a man spurred on by his wives, religion and the erotic.
Norman Rockwell - Americas most popular and well-loved illustrator. Most famous for the cover illustrations he created for the Saturday Evening Post. Talking about Rockwell's life story, Danny also goes into great depths on how this artist painted these great masterpieces.
