Carole demonstrates in watercolour, pastels, pastel pencils, acrylics & mixed media and water soluble pencils (including Inktense and Graphitint). Her subjects include portraits, figures, animals, flowers and landscapes. She is available for demonstrations and workshops in East Anglia, the Home Counties and the South East of England.

Carole was art school trained and has been a professional artist for 40 years. Last year she was invited to the Bank of England to unveil her portrait of Sir Charles Bean marking his retirement as Deputy Manager of Bank of England, where the painting now hangs. She has completed commissions in America, Hong Kong and France and has exhibited with the SWA at the Mall Galleries, London and in East Anglia. She is a very popular tutor and demonstrator and leads many courses for the Field Studies Council at Flatford Mill, Suffolk, at Dedham Hall, Essex and at Watershed Studio, Essex. She also runs workshops at the renown Beth Chatto Gardens near Colchester in addition to painting holidays in France.

Carole is a contributor to the Leisure Painter magazine and has appeared on a number of regional TV arts programmes and is currently appearing on the Sky information Channel and You Tube. As a best-selling author she has written books on how to use water soluble pencils, painting flowers in acrylics and figures in watercolours. Her latest 96 page book "Drawing Masterclass - PORTRAITS" is a bible for aspiring portrait artists. She has also contributed to two large compendium books on drawing techniques and acrylics.
