Barry has been a professional artist for over 20 years, and is interested in what is "real art", and not that which purports to be art.

He uses all media because all are a valid means of expression, albeit in different ways. His work tends to border on figurative semi-abstract and is mainly interested in colour.

Barry is a member of the Pastel Society and, until recently, was a member of the RBA (Royal Society of British Artists). He has exhibited with all the major art societies - N.E.A.C, R.O.I, R.B.A, Pastel Society.

He has written articles for all the art magazines, but now only for "The Artist".

He was recently pleased to have a painting accepted in the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, 2006

Barry teaches extensively, and can be contacted at barry.freeman47@live.co.uk or telephone direct to 02392 556098
